Retaining walls🔨
Unlike paving, they are one of our favorite things to build. Weather its timber or rock, big or small. Its enjoyable to construct, they are aesthetically pleasing and when you stand back at the end of the job with a beer in tow, they always make you feel like you've accomplished a lot. It completes the job and ties everything together beautifully. Just a little appreciation post of some of the jobs we have completed and have enjoyed working with.

We have never really shouted about our paving/slab work. Truth is, its quiet literally a pain in the ass, back, and knees😆. Its heavy lifting, cutting to precise, levelling every single slab perfectly... its hard work. But done right, it looks amazing and lasts for years! We dont love laying pavers but it comes with so much joy when you get to sit back and see the results over a beer.

Quality paving and slab-style landscaping comes down to the groundwork - Proper prep, solid base coarse, and attention to detail all the way through. We seem to be getting in a lot of paving/slab work at the moment so we thought we would share the stuff we can do. See each photo below with more info.

Big shout out to one of our much loved employees Storm, for being loyal and hard working towards our company for a few years. Hes heading overseas for an adventure and we couldn't be happier for him. While he's away for a month, we need someone to fill his role or even stay on board full time when he gets back.

So far... in Leigh, the boys are busy on the machines today, time to fill in the garden boxes and prep for planting. The boss man is on his way to Te Hana Nurseries to pick up the plants.
