🌧️ Rain outside, sunshine inside. ☀️

A wet Auckland day didn't stop us from finishing this beautiful bathroom.

At first glance it looks like a simple subway tile job, but there was a lot of work behind the scenes. The window meant plenty of tricky cuts underneath, around the frame, and into every corner to keep the tile lines straight and even.

The extra time spent on those little details is what makes the finished bathroom look clean and seamless.

Multiple angles. Different heights. Steps, nib walls, shower recesses, and countless cuts. Every tile has to line up perfectly for the whole space to look clean and seamless.

That's the kind of challenge we enjoy.

This kitchen started with plain plasterboard behind the cooktop. We transformed it with a beautiful blue-green subway tile splashback, installed in a classic brick pattern that instantly adds colour, texture, and personality to the space.

🏡 When geometry gets complicated, precision matters

Not every bathroom is a simple square room.
This project featured:
✅ Multiple internal and external corners
✅ A shower alcove
✅ A tiled bath surround beneath a large window
✅ Window reveals and tricky transitions
✅ A custom-built vanity structure

With so many changes in direction and numerous corners throughout the room, careful planning was essential before the first tile was laid.
From the floor to the bath surround, vanity structure, shower walls, and window area, the tile joints were carefully set out to align wherever possible, creating a clean and balanced finish despite the bathroom's unusual shape.

Lockwood Home Transformation – From timber walls to a stunning tiled splashback!
For this beautiful Lockwood-style home, the existing timber wall lining wasn’t suitable for direct tiling. We installed a specialised tile backer board to create a stable, durable surface that meets tiling requirements.
As they say, “Here comes the princess” 👑 — and she certainly arrived in style! The glossy subway tiles bring a bright, elegant finish while maintaining the warmth and charm of the Lockwood home.

Nearly 100sqm completed from scratch 🔥

This project included:

▫️ Standard format marble-look tiles

▫️ Precision edges and trims
▫️ Floor-to-ceiling wall tiling
▫️ Clean vein matching throughout the spaces

The warm marble veining combined beautifully with the bronze fittings to create a timeless and elegant feel across the home.
