Want to grow your own gorgeous buckets of dahlias this summer? Our premium dahlia tubers will be for sale at the MAKER BAKER GROWER Market Day hosted by Nourished by Trio on Sunday, November 1. It’s the perfect time to plant them - you could even pop them in the ground the same day as purchase and have flowers in late December 💖.

All our dahlias are grown by our wee family here on our little slice of paradise near Arapuni Village, South Waikato. We have a range of colours, shapes and forms - so there is something for everyone 🤩

We will release our full list and pricing closer to the event so follow us for updates.

There is never enough. 💁‍♀️😅

I spent all winter and early spring hibernating after my darling baby was born and then oops over the last week my tuber kete is excitingly full for the season. I’m still dividing and packing wee orders for lovely human beings in my wee corner of the internet - thank you so very much your support means a lot! ✨💗

My in person dahlia tuber sale is the last weekend of October - the perfect time to plant out dahlias after the threat of the last frost! (Yes we still sometimes get rogue frosts in October here in the Waikato). A few weeks ago I put feelers out for a South Waikato in person dahlia tuber event. What was just going to be a wee ugly potato sale has become an incredible line up of local makers, bakers and growers! While still a small group, the offerings are amazing.

My friend Nicole Tidmarsh of “Nickers and Bloomers” dahlias and myself Larks Meadow Flowers will be selling a range of dahlia tubers. 🥔 If you know us you’ll know Nicole and I love variety and hope to have a good range to choose from - limited numbers but a great range.🌸

💐Aside from tubers there will be flowers, seeds and plants by the amazing Reagan of Bloom & Ray Flower Farm.

🍞 Sourdough by the lovely Sourdough By Hannah .

🍶Thoughtful pottery and ceramics by Larissa of Goodwin Ceramics

🧀🌮🥂And a feast of food and drink by venue host and caterer Nourished by Trio

Tickets are $15 and include a complimentary coffee or a glass of bubbles🍾☕️

Come for tubers and leave with fresh bread, pottery, plants and a full puku and happy heart!

Larks Meadow is a micro flower farm overlooking Mount Maungatautari near Arapuni village, Waikato, New Zealand. With rolling hills, Hobbiton and the Waikato river trails nearby this destination flower field is an explosion of colour and floral delight in the summer months. Bouquets and bloom buckets will be available from December 2026. Keep an eye out for our roadside stand coming soon 💐
