A full garden makeover completed recently. We removed an old, tired garden area, installed decorative stone for a cleaner, low-maintenance finish, and refreshed the bark in gardens out the back to tie everything together.

The result? A much tidier, more modern outdoor space that's easier to maintain and looks great year-round.

A simple transformation can make a huge difference.

This outdoor area was looking a bit tired, so we removed an old overgrown flax bush and freshened up the space with a layer of lime chip around the walkway. The result is a cleaner, tidier, and much more inviting entrance that will be easier to maintain going forward.

It's always satisfying seeing a space come together with a bit of hard work and attention to detail.

How does a little Honda City become the Grim W**der? 🌱💀

At the start of this year I brought home two Honda Citys from Seddon, near Blenheim. Mario came home on the trailer, while Luigi drove himself back to North Canterbury.

After months of tinkering, rebuilding, and a few appearances on APC jobs, Luigi disappeared into the shed for one final transformation.

Now he's known as the Grim W**der.

This is the story of how it all began.

A few people have been asking about the story behind the Grim W**der, so I thought I’d share where it all started.

At the beginning of this year I headed up to Seddon, near Blenheim, to pick up a pair of Honda Citys that had been painted as Mario and Luigi.

Mario came home on the trailer while Luigi made the journey back under his own steam.

What followed was months of slowly working away on Luigi whenever I had spare time. Fixing things, improving things, and bringing him back to life one piece at a time. He even attended a few APC jobs in his Luigi colours before being tucked away in the shed again.

As the business continued to grow, I started thinking about how I could create something a bit different. Something that reflected both my love of quirky old vehicles and the personality I wanted APC to have.

So the transformation began.

After plenty of hours in the shed, Luigi officially retired and the Grim W**der was born.

His brother Mario has since gone on to a new owner after a few adventures of his own, while the Grim W**der remains here in North Canterbury representing APC and causing trouble wherever he goes.

It’s been pretty cool seeing how many people have got behind the little Honda already, and there’s still plenty more to come.
