At Heartland Homes South Island, sustainability is more than just a word we use – it's something we live by every single day. We're proud to build with timber that's grown, cut, and prepared right here in North Canterbury.

Choosing local timber means we're cutting down on our carbon footprint, backing our local industries, and making sure every home we build shows off the quality craftsmanship this region is famous for. When you build with us, you're getting a home made to last while also doing your part for a healthier planet and a stronger local economy.

We keep things local because it matters. Supporting our community, lowering our environmental impact, and delivering top-quality craftsmanship in every build – that's what we're about. That's why all our timber is sustainably grown, sourced locally, and processed by . It's good for New Zealand's forestry industry, good for local businesses, and it means you get stronger, more durable homes built to stand the test of time.

Want to see the difference for yourself? Come visit our show homes in Amberley. The attention to detail, and the quality of our builds will speak for themselves.
