A few months on from completion, Fitzroy Street is doing exactly what it was built to do: providing warm, comfortable homes for people in the Dunedin community.

Breen delivered four new community housing units in Caversham for Dunedin City Council, taking the project from construction through to fit-out, external works and handover. The result is a simple, practical development built to serve its residents well for years to come.

Projects like this might not always be the biggest, but they matter. They’re about creating good homes, working closely with the people involved, and leaving behind something genuinely useful for the community.

What a week for Central Otago Hockey Association!

We are proud to have sponsored the team’s trip to Wellington for the national tournament last week. They made it all the way to the finals and finished fourth overall - a fantastic result and a great experience for the team.

Congratulations to everyone involved.

Good to see the Opuha Low Level Outlet Dam Resilience Upgrade featured in the Timaru Courier.

The new outlet gives Opuha Water more control over lake levels ahead of major rainfall, helping improve flood protection for communities downstream.

It was a challenging piece of work in a live dam environment, and a strong example of what our Civil team does well.

Last Friday saw Lindsay Breen alongside Peter Kean and Roger Clarke (Highlanders leadership) on the couch at Southland Business Chamber talking on the topic, Never Let a Good Crisis Go to Waste. Talking to a room of southland business leaders, the panel agreed uncertainty isn't a time to retreat - it's a time to invest in people, protect quality, repuations and make strategic decisions about what comes next.

Thanks to the Chamber and panel moderator, the exceptional Sheree Carey who always pulls out great insights and gets a panel moving.
