The Bluefin Tuna season down at Waihau Bay has served up some incredible moments this winter, but this one completely takes the cake! 🌊🐟

A massive shoutout to Timmo the Fisho and his mum, who made the trek down to the East Cape and absolutely smashed it in the blue water, locking horns with some hard-fighting southern bluefin.

There is nothing quite like sharing a brutal, stand-up battle with a heavy barrel of a tuna, and having your mum right there on the deck to experience the madness makes it an unforgettable trip. Seeing the team get stuck into the schools and putting some premium steaks on the ice is what winter fishing in New Zealand is all about.

Massive congrats to Timmo and his mum on an epic winter mission—memories made for a lifetime!
