An attempt with large windows inviting natural light, dissolving the boundary between interior and exterior, and the gated car porch to integrate practicality seamlessly into the design. The overall attempt is to create a modern yet grounded vibe that balances strength with serenity, offering both functional efficiency and emotional comfort.

The renovated Yash Petrol Pump & newly proposed Adarsh City Center at Inarwamal, Bara, designed by Scale and Spaces Pvt. Ltd., is a modern mixed-use complex combining a premium fuel station, retail spaces, and a two-screen multiplex. A clean, contemporary façade with brick, glass, and warm lighting leads into a vibrant inner courtyard featuring café kiosks, open seating, and festive hanging lights. The courtyard acts as a lively social zone surrounded by shops and direct access to the multiplex.

Overall, the project transforms the site into a compact, elegant commercial landmark that blends fueling, shopping, and entertainment within a single unified architectural experience.

Brickwave House: Shaped by Sun, Framed by Brick

Brickwave House in Tokha-6, Kathmandu, is a modern residence that celebrates both light and material. Its defining element: a sweeping curved brick façade, creates a rhythmic wave across the elevation, softening the geometry of concrete and glass. The east-facing orientation allows the home to embrace the morning sun, filling interiors with warmth and energy, while recessed lighting brings the façade alive after dusk.

The design balances tradition and modernity through its material palette: exposed brickwork evokes Kathmandu’s timeless architectural heritage, while sleek glass balconies and clean structural lines reflect contemporary living. Together, these elements create a residence that is elegant, functional, and enduring that is shaped by light and framed by brick.
