How can we get more energy from the solar plants we already have?

This question shaped “Same Plant, More Energy,” a session we hosted on 17 September to explore opportunities for improving the performance of existing solar installations.

We brought together industry professionals to discuss how design, technology, and operating decisions influence energy generation and long-term value. Mr. Sumit Jha and SunChaser’s technical session on single-axis tracking offered a closer look at one approach to enhancing plant output.

For us at MSI, the session was an opportunity to connect technical expertise with practical experiences, exchange ideas, and explore what better performance can look like for existing solar assets.

Recent floods and landslides reminded us how quickly one disruption can affect everything connected to it.

When roads, power, communication, and emergency-response systems are impacted, the effects travel across communities and essential services.

While we cannot prevent every natural event, we can prepare infrastructure to respond better, recover faster, and maintain critical operations when conditions change.

Resilience must be planned into every system, from backup power and communication to risk monitoring and safe maintenance response.
