Hey Vincent! How did you become a Business Developer?
I joined Lox as a BDR after working in e-commerce for over six years. I was looking for a professional change where I could also exploit my previous experiences. As a BDR, you get the best of both worlds: e-commerce and relationship management.
So what surprised you the most about your role?
My involvement in almost every aspect of the commercial side of Lox. Because of my previous experience, I feel I’m a valuable team member within the company and have much room to learn new things.
What’s your favourite way to start the day?
Sunlight, coffee, and soothing jazz music. This combination always makes me smile and gives me positive vibes throughout the day. 🎷
Are you reading any good books right now? We’d all love some recommendations!
To be honest, I am not a reader. However, I got an e-reader for my birthday, so I feel obligated to read a few pages daily. Currently, I am reading: Fresh off the boat, written by Eddie Huang. I highly recommend this one; it’s an easy and fun read.📖
What’s your favourite place in Rotterdam?
I love food and good company. Going to Tai Wu brings both of these aspects together in the best way possible (for me). Also, it reminds me of my childhood, a big round table with delicious dim sum. 🥟
If you could instantly learn a language, which would you pick?
Spanish! I am really into Latin music, I listen to it every day, and it always makes me smile. So I would like actually to understand what they are saying. 🐰
