WHEN RIGGING MEETS LAUGHS 😂
Working on the Marco Mengoni tour already brings incredible music, international teamwork, and world-class production… but sometimes it also delivers unforgettable moments that go far beyond cables and trusses.
During one of Marco’s Winter Concerts, something special happened. Marco took a moment on stage to read aloud a handwritten note from our very own rigger, Martijn — and the entire arena burst into laughter. Martijn had been measuring how loudly the audience was singing along, and he jokingly gave the crowd a score of 7.5 out of 10. In his note, he teased Marco not reaching higher numbers in a way that he wanted to “give him a punch”…but of course, that’s hard to do from a distance.
The crowd loved it. Marco loved it. And Martijn? He was grinning ear to ear.
Marcus Muzea:
“Moments like this remind us that touring isn’t just technical work — it’s human work. When artists, riggers, and audiences share a laugh together, that’s real connection.”
A beautiful example of how personal, warm, and collaborative this international tour has become. Rigging brings us up in the roof — but moments like this bring us close to the stage.
