Kalfire Fireplaces Haarden Kalfire is een Nederlandse producent van hoogwaardige gashaarden, houthaarden en elektrische haarden. En dat al bijna 40 jaar.

Het familiebedrijf werd in 1981 in het Limburgse Belfeld opgericht door de familie van Melick. Ondanks de groei die het bedrijf in de loop der jaren heeft doorgemaakt, heeft Kalfire nooit iets van dat familiekarakter verloren. Dat vertaalt zich in een enorme betrokkenheid bij haar klanten, dealers en producten en in een langetermijnvisie die het mogelijk maakt om te blijven innoveren. In 2010 nam

Beijko van Melick het bedrijf over van zijn ouders. Onder zijn dagelijkse leiding heeft Kalfire zijn visie op het design, de techniek, het gebruiksgemak en de prestaties van (gesloten) gashaarden en houthaarden verder vormgegeven. En zijn positie als trendsetter verder kunnen verstevigen. Zeer regelmatig schudt Kalfire de markt wakker met spraakmakende innovaties, zowel op technisch als esthetisch gebied. Kalfire is een bedrijf dat de uitstraling en expertise van een multinational combineert met de oprechte betrokkenheid, laagdrempeligheid en warmte van een familiebedrijf.

In the Netherlands, Jessica and Bastiaan transformed a historic carrรฉ farmhouse into a contemporary home full of character. One of their main wishes was to create a strong connection between the living room and kitchen, with the fireplace as the central focal point.

Together with their architect, they chose the Kalfire W53/50R wood-burning fireplace. Its three-sided room divider design allows the flames to be enjoyed from different areas of the living space, while the clean lines fit seamlessly with the modern interior, warm tones, black kitchen and steel details.

The result is a home where original character and contemporary design come together, with real fire at the heart of everyday family life.
