VenhoevenCS on tour 🇧🇪

Last weekend, we swapped the studio for a few days together in Belgium.

With Dirk Coopman’s Au dessus du Bie in the Ardennes as our home for the weekend, we set out to explore architecture, landscapes and cities along the way. From Sportspark Genk and Dinant to a walk through Namur, before ending the weekend in Antwerp with a tour of PAKT and the Groen Kwartier.

A few days of seeing places together, walking, talking, sharing meals and spending time outside the office.

Thanks to everyone who welcomed us along the way — and to the whole team for a great weekend.

From design to reality in Ypres🏊

Our new swimming pool in Ypres is taking shape!

Designed for competitive swimming, lessons and recreation, the complex will offer a bright and welcoming environment for the whole region. Generous daylight, warm timber finishes and clear connections between the pools will shape the experience inside.

Opening to the public in summer 2027.

🎉 We’re celebrating two new tender wins: The Common Grounds in Eindhoven and UP! in Zoetermeer.

🎓The Common Grounds will create more than 750 modular timber student homes on the TU/e campus. The car-free, nature-inclusive neighbourhood combines shared spaces with a biodiverse landscape, supporting community life and creating lasting ecological value.

🏢 UP! will bring 235 homes to Markt 10 and Frankrijklaan in Zoetermeer. Two residential buildings with shared spaces and green roof gardens will contribute to a diverse, connected and vibrant city centre.

What does the future of architecture in Amsterdam look like?

Now on show at , the new exhibition 'From Model to Metropolis'. The exhibition tells the story of Amsterdam’s iconic architecture over the past 35 years and offers a glimpse into the future.

We are excited to have contributed one of the models representing the future of the city. You will be able to see our model for ZOË, our nature-inclusive residential building to be built in the Sluisbuurt.

The exhibition is currently on view at Arcam until 27 September 2026. We hope to see you there!

Bij VenhoevenCS krijg je de kans om je ontwerpvaardigheden verder te ontwikkelen. Je werkt aan projecten die inspelen op de grote thema’s van onze tijd, zoals klimaatverandering, biodiversiteit en duurzaam bouwen.
