🏠 HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT FOUNDATION FOR YOUR BUILDING 🗣️

Not every building needs the same type of foundation. The right foundation depends on a few important things:

1. Soil type
Some soils are strong, while others are weak or unstable. Knowing your soil condition and the bearing capacity determines the right foundation for your building. This can be determined by carrying out Geo-Technical soil test.

2. Building size and weight
A small bungalow and a multi-storey building have different axial loads, so their foundation requirements may be different.

3. Water around the site
High groundwater or areas that remain wet can affect how the foundation is designed and constructed.

4. Building design
The position of columns, walls, rooms and spans all affect the foundation design. This can be determined by engaging a professional structural engineer.

5. Site conditions
Land topography, nearby buildings and other site conditions must also be considered.

👉 There is no single foundation that is right for every building.
The goal is not simply to choose the cheapest foundation. It is to choose a foundation that is safe, suitable for the soil and appropriate for the building design.
