You see artisans in the site, they have a goal; to work and get paid.
Most of these people do not consider the efficiency, stability and quality of your job. They are interested in just their daily pay.
And truly, when the structure of the building defects, it is the contractor or the professional that will be held responsible.
If you are not careful, these artisans can cause you your license after what they will do in your site will result to a serious damage. It's important to be strict on them, supervise and make sure they stick to the instruction.
Should I talk about how often they can disappoint you?
They can tell you they are on their way to site, and you won't see them, therefore affecting your work schedules.
They don't consider how much you got the work as the contract, they just want to get the money from you.
They usually think the Engineer pockets all the money and gives them penny. But the truth is 95% of the money goes to them eventually.
Painfully, we can't do without them. We won't be the ones to lay the block, cast the concrete or do the fittings and form works. We need them to get the job done.
Irony of building construction.
