A Day in the Life of a Housing/Mortgage Consultant.

Hosting FMBN & FHAMB at FMBN Mega Mini City, Kuje.
Developer: Mahfas Investment Limited.

Today wasn’t just another site visit.

We hosted teams from the Federal Mortgage Bank of Nigeria and the Federal Housing Authority Mortgage Bank for a full walkthrough and technical review of FMBN Mega Mini City, Kuje.

Here’s what we covered:
1. Estate Layout: Walked through zoning - residential clusters, commercial strip, green areas, and drainage. Traced all access roads on ground vs on plan.

2. Unit Identification: Did a block-by-block review. Both teams focused heavily on unit numbering and address mapping because this is critical for mortgage documentation and NHF and Rent to Own processing.

3. Infrastructure Check: Street lights, water reticulation, transformer location, and the central green area for playground + mini-mart. These are the amenities that make Kuje attractive for young families.

For me, hosting FMBN and FHAMB isn’t just about showing buildings.
It’s about aligning developers, financiers, and regulators so that when a Nigerian is ready to buy, the mortgage process is smooth and they can move in faster.

Site dust + sunburn + progress = worth it. We’re one step closer to helping more Nigerians own homes without ₦20M upfront.
