We recently completed the installation and commissioning of a solar energy system for a hotel in Owerri, Imo State, featuring 2 unit of
18kVA Hybrid Inverters (3 unit of 6kva Deye Hybrid Inverter connected in parallel)
16kWh Lithium Battery Storage
Approximately 30kWp Solar PV System
The objective was simple: maximize the use of solar energy during the day, switch to the grid at night when electricity is cheaper, and provide uninterrupted backup power whenever the grid fails.
The hotel previously spent between ₦6 million and ₦7 million monthly on electricity alone, excluding diesel costs and generator maintenance.
