GOD IS GOD.
Before humans gave religion a name, God was already God.
Religions are human paths through which people seek to understand, worship, and relate to the Divine. Christianity, Islam, Judaism, African traditional religions, and many other traditions each have their own beliefs and ways of expressing that relationship.
But the Divine cannot be reduced to a human label.
The deeper lesson is humility.
No human being owns God. No religion can claim that the Creator belongs exclusively to them. And when people use God to justify hatred, superiority, cruelty, or division, we should ask whether we have truly understood the wisdom we claim to follow.
You can be deeply committed to your faith without believing that everyone outside it is worthless or incapable of knowing God.
Faith should make us wiser, kinder, more compassionateānot more arrogant.
So perhaps the greatest question is not:
Which religion owns God?
But:
āWhat kind of person is my relationship with God making me?ā
