Job vacancy: Driver
Job Summary
GTGABOD NIG LTD is seeking a reliable, professional, and safe Driver to join our logistics/administration team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting staff, clients, and materials to and from designated locations while ensuring the maintenance and safety of company vehicles
Key Responsibilities
• Safe Driving: Transport management, staff, or company goods safely to destinations in accordance with traffic laws and organization policies.
• Route Planning: Plan and navigate routes using GPS and local road knowledge to ensure timely arrivals.
• Vehicle Maintenance: Perform daily vehicle inspections, keep the vehicle clean, and report any mechanical faults or routine service needs to the management.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate logs of daily mileage, fuel consumption, and trip destinations.
• Compliance: Ensure all vehicle documents (e.g., insurance, roadworthiness) are up to date.
Qualifications & Requirements
• License: Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Experience: Minimum of 7years of professional driving experience
• Education: Minimum of SSCE/WASSCE
• Skills: Strong working knowledge of local routes and traffic laws. Good communication and time-management skills.
• Soft Skills: Professional demeanour, reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours when necessary.
• Character: Must have a verifiable guarantor and be willing to undergo a background check.
