We’re starting a new series where we break down common solar terms in simple, easy-to-understand ways.

First up: INVERTER

You’ve probably heard the word a lot when talking about solar, but what does it actually do? Simply put, the inverter converts the DC electricity stored in your batteries into AC electricity that your everyday appliances can use.
Think of it as the bridge between your stored solar power and the appliances in your home or business.

Follow GreySolar for more simple solar terms every week.
