Attention to Detail
It has been over two years since I transitioned into interior works, coming from almost a decade in core civil construction.
And here is the most important lesson I have learned so far:
ATTENTION TO DETAILS.
The contrast between where I was coming from and where I am now is vast. In civil work, you build at scale, structures, volumes, mass. In interiors, you live in the millimetre. It was a challenge at first, but a fascinating one, because I have always been the kind of person who loves to sit with something and truly understand it. Not just get through it - get it.
Two years in, and this discipline still teaches me the same thing every single day.
Every detail counts.
It has been a while since I put pen to paper, and I am glad to be back.
Cheers,
Mikelomaa.
