OTIC Surveys recently completed the installation of a new CORS (Continuously Operating Reference Station) at the Department of Surveying and Geo-Informatics, University of Ilorin, Kwara State.
This installation represents more than the addition of a new station. It strengthens the growing network of CORS infrastructure that supports high-precision GNSS positioning and RTK correction services across Nigeria.
As demand for accurate geospatial data continues to increase across surveying, engineering, construction, mapping, GIS, and land administration, reliable positioning infrastructure becomes increasingly important.
The Kwara CORS station will contribute to improved positioning accuracy, enhanced operational efficiency, and greater accessibility to precision surveying services for professionals and organizations within the region and beyond.
With nearly 30 CORS stations installed across the country, OTIC Surveys remains committed to expanding the infrastructure that enables accurate positioning, reliable data collection, and informed decision-making.
We are proud to contribute to the advancement of Nigeria's geospatial ecosystem, one installation at a time.
