The say 18-year-old girl reportedly left home for weeks and was later found staying with her boyfriend
Out of ang£r and frustration, her father allegedly fl0gged her with a belt and brought her back home, only for the boyfriend to involve the p0lice
What sh0cked many people in the area was not even the arrest alone
It was what happened after
According to reports from neighbours, the girl allegedly insisted that her father must sign an undertaking promising never to lay hands on her again whether she returns home or not
She also reportedly demanded that her father accept her relationship with the boyfriend
And when everyone expected her to quietly return home
She allegedly refused
Instead, she reportedly told them she would return home only when her b0yfriend decided

Whether people like it or not, one reality is becoming clear
This generation is changing very fast
Back then, many parents corrected children through fear and physical punishment
But today, once a chi|d becomes legally an adult, things become more complicated, especially when police, relationships and personal rights enter the matter
At the same time, many parents are also scared
Because imagine struggling for years to raise a chi|d, protect them, train them
only for one relationship to suddenly create distance between parent and chi|d
But another uncomfortable truth is this too
Some chi|dren are not running away only because of “bad influence”
Sometimes communication at home has already br0ken down long before the chi|d left
That’s why situations like this are always pa!nful from both sides
The parents feel disrespected
The chi|d feels controlled
And outsiders only see the final expl0sion
Honestly
family issues in this generation are no longer as simple as “who is right” and “who is wrong"
Sometimes everybody involved is hurting in different ways
But in light of this, does it mean that we cannot be@t our chi|dren again even when they are wrong?
