26/06/2026

To all our esteemed National Leaders of the NDC, the Edo State Chapter, the Edo north Zonal Executive, the State Executive, our Local Government Executives, Ward Executives, and every dedicated member, I sincerely appreciate your commitment, sacrifices, and unwavering support. Your efforts have kept our party strong and united. As we move forward, greater responsibilities and bigger challenges lie ahead. Victory will only come through unity, forgiveness, and collective determination. Let us put behind every misunderstanding and disagreement that arose before and during the primaries, embracing one another with sincerity and purpose. Together, let us work tirelessly, remain focused, and stand as one family. With unity, discipline, and dedication, we can achieve our shared vision and secure victory for the NDC. Thank you all, and may God bless our collective efforts.

Etsako East, they told you that our youths are lazy. I tell you today: Our youths are abandoned.
You cannot call the welder in Aviodor lazy when you refused to give him light.
How do our fathers and mothers in Afokpella and Okpekpe Clan survive when they depend on farming but fear the farm because of insecurity?
You cannot call the graduate in Agenebode a failure when you locked every door to jobs.
You cannot call our farmers in Weppa Wanno lazy when you shouted “Back to Farm” but gave no fertilizer, no improved seeds, and no modern storage to save their harvest.
You cannot say Itsukwi and Imiegba are part of Etsako East when roads stop where politics ends, and projects reach Agenebode and Okpella but never cross to their side.
Then they insult us. They hand out cooking gas, fans, and fridges and call it empowerment. What will a jobless youth cook with gas when there is no food? What will he cool with a fridge when there is no light? What will he fan when the heat comes from hunger, not weather? What will the farmer in Okpekpe store in a fridge when yams and tomatoes rot by the roadside because the market road is broken and there is no storage? What will farm settlers do with gas when insecurity chased them from their farms, the government ordered relocation, and gave them no land to plant again?
That is not empowerment. That is a camera project. That is sympathy, not solutions.
The Assembly is not a retirement home for old men to share money. It is a factory where we make laws that create jobs, rebuild roads to move produce, build storage so farmers stop losing, provide fertilizer and seeds instead of empty slogans, and end insecurity.
A lawmaker is not measured by fridges shared, but by youths who gain work through real skills, farmers who keep the value of their harvest, and pregnant women who deliver safely because their PHC works.
So before you ask what I will give youths, ask them what they took from youths. Ask why they gave you a fridge instead of farm security, gas instead of capital, a fan instead of a factory. Ask why they gave you “Back to Farm” but took your fertilizers, broke your roads, left your harvest to rot, and chased you from your land.
A man who never created a job with his own hands cannot create jobs with your power.
A man who never lost a harvest to bad roads cannot fight for your farmers.
A man who never watched his village excluded from projects cannot bring equity to Itsukwi and Imiegba.
A man who never buried a parent because the PHC had no drugs cannot fix our health centres.
A man who never ran from his farm because of herdsmen cannot bring peace to Okpekpe.
A man who never learnt welding under a mango tree cannot build real skills centres.
Servant Michael Kadiri Imodumeh is an aspirant for the Edo State House of Assembly election in 2027 under the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC. I am not running for title. I am running to fix what they broke and to keep the election manifestos they never kept.
Vote Servant Michael Kadiri Imodumeh. Edo State House of Assembly, 2027. NDC.
God bless Etsako East.
God bless Edo North.
God bless Edo State.
God bless the Nigeria Democratic Congress.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Sons and daughters of Etsako East, I greet you all.

I want to express my deepest appreciation to everyone who came out in massive support for our great party, the National Democratic Congress, during the congress meetings held nationwide — from the Ward, Local Government, State, Zonal, to the National level.

I give special credit to all Ward, Local Government, and State Executive members of the NDC for your leadership, sacrifice, and tireless work in mobilizing our people. Your commitment ensured a peaceful, transparent, and successful process.

I, your son, Servant Michael Kadiri Imodumeh, was fully present throughout. I monitored every stage with patience, dedication, and a firm commitment to fairness and transparency. I witnessed your sacrifice, your resilience, and your unwavering belief in the future of our party, our people, and our great Edo State.

To the elders, the women, the youth, and every stakeholder across Edo North who stood firm despite the challenges — I say thank you. Your voice was heard, and your presence made the difference.

And to every ward in Etsako East, I make this covenant with you:

To Agenebode Ward, the gateway to our land —
We pledge purposeful leadership and governance you will feel on every street.

To Okpekpe Ward, proud and steadfast —
We pledge infrastructure that matches your strength and opportunities that meet your ambition.

To Okpella I Ward, home of enterprise —
We pledge an economy that rewards your industry and policies that protect your growth.

To Okpella II Ward, where heritage meets progress —
We pledge to preserve your culture whilst building a future your children will be proud of.

To Weppa Ward, blessed by the river —
We pledge development that reaches every home and representation that never runs dry.

To Wanno I Ward, our farmlands and backbone —
We pledge to honour your labour with access, inputs, and markets that truly work.

To Wanno II Ward, guardians of tradition —
We pledge to invest in your young people, empower your women, and modernize without erasing who we are.

To Iviukwe Ward, small on the map, large in heart —
We pledge that no ward is too small to be seen, heard, and served first.

To Imiegba Ward, strong in community and courage —
We pledge quality healthcare, reliable power, and schools that inspire.

To Emokweme Ward, our eastern pillar —
We pledge that distance will never mean neglect — your progress is our priority.

Etsako East: Ten Wards. One Vision. One Destiny.
Not one ward left behind. Not one promise taken lightly.
This is our covenant with every community, from Agenebode to Emokweme.

Let us remain united, steadfast, and focused. The journey ahead requires all of us — Etsako East, Edo North, and Edo State together. And united, we will build an Etsako East, an Edo State, and a Nigeria we all deserve.

God bless Etsako East.
God bless Edo North.
God bless Edo State.
God bless the National Democratic Congress.
God bless the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Sons and daughters of Etsako East, I greet you.

Yesterday, our great party, the Nigeria Democratic Congress, reached another milestone. After successful ward and local government congresses, we convened a successful state congress attended by executive leaders from every corner of Edo State in Benin City.

I am proud to confirm that the Etsako East Constituency team was fully present and represented. I, Michael Kadiri Imodumeh, aspirant for the Etsako East Constituency seat in the Edo State House of Assembly (EDHA) 2027, stood with the team.

The Nigeria Democratic Congress stands for one thing: Service to the People.
Not someday. Not in the next election. It starts now.

To every young person watching: your future begins today.
To every mother holding this community together: your voice sets the agenda now.
To every ward, every street, every home: expect a development-oriented government at your doorstep.

This is the MK Imodumeh Forward Alliance.
The mission is clear. The time is now. The direction is forward.

Sons and daughters of Etsako East, I salute you.

ETSAKO EAST STOOD UP YESTERDAY. WE WILL NOT STEP BACK.

What happened yesterday at the Nigeria Democratic Congress Ward/LGA Congress in Etsako East was not a meeting. It was a statement.

A statement that the days of empty talk are finished. A statement that the Forward Alliance is here.

My name is Michael Kadiri Imodumeh. I’m not here to ask for power. I’m here to build it — hand in hand with the people of Etsako East.
