If your client is living in a rented apartment, confirm that the landlord has approved the work before you climb the rooftop, drill a wall, mount panels, or start any installation.

That may sound like a small detail, but professionally, it is critical site information you must obtain from your client.

Last week, Engr. Bobby went behind bars after allegedly proceeding with work without confirming the landlord’s approval.

He was on the rooftop doing his job, while the police were already waiting downstairs with a Hilux for him to come down. 😳

Imagine going to a site with your tools and returning in a police vehicle.

As an installer, your job is to deliver energy, not collect police reports.

Yesterday, a viral post showed what appeared to be an itel Power Tank explosion.
The image looked convincing enough to make people believe a real incident had occurred.
Today, the person behind the post has clarified that the entire scenario was AI-generated and that the incident never happened.
This is exactly why we need to be careful with what we share online.
AI can create extremely convincing images of burnt batteries, exploded inverters, damaged solar panels and electrical fires.
In an industry where safety matters, a fabricated image can create unnecessary fear, damage a product's reputation and spread misinformation to thousands of people before the truth catches up.
Don't use AI-generated images as evidence of a technical failure.
If there's a real electrical incident, investigate the cause.
If there's no verified evidence, don't present it as fact.
Solar education should be based on facts, not frightening pictures.

Where did the original image originate?

The safety of solar and battery systems is too crucial to base conclusions on viral images. If an incident is genuine, it warrants investigation.
