You wonder why paints don't last on buildings in Nigeria.
One of the reasons is temperature and the environment, Nigeria particularly is an environment which steady sun and rain which contributes to the rise in high temperature and moisture in walls.
Dampness is a rising case in Nigeria❗️❗️
People build houses without proper drainage systems, DPM material and poor engineering structure of buildings. Painters using cheap paints, no wall preparation, wall assessment, neglecting the usuage of primer.
This is very common particularly in Nigeria.
All of this sums up to DAMPNESS ON WALLS causing the paints to fade, peel and watery.
The treatment to this is not repainting, it's proper wall assessment and wall treatment.
