From the classroom to the practice.

On 23 October, VERITAS welcomed 11 students from Institut Modern Arsitektur dan Teknologi (IMAT), Indonesia, to our Kuala Lumpur headquarters for a day of learning, exchange and professional insights.

Principal Ar. Michael Tan and Principal Ar. Syah Kamaruddin led presentations sharing insights into VERITAS’ multidisciplinary practice, from architecture and engineering to technology, urban development and project management.

A meaningful opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences and connect the next generation of architects with professional practice.

Saturday morning, getting our hands dirty for nature.

On 17 October, 32 VERITASians, including colleagues from VERITAS Landscape (VL) and VERITAS Contracts (VC), spent the morning at Kuala Selangor Nature Park planting mangroves.

Together, we helped restore degraded areas, conserve mangrove species and support the natural resilience of the mangrove forest.

First Place for The Win City’s Area A

A proud moment for VERITAS.
Our proposal for Area A of The Win City, has been awarded 1st Place with a score of 90 points in the architectural competition.
Named PRIME MAJESTIC, the scheme is anchored by the 42-storey Win Mark and shaped around the idea of “Đức Hòa Gateway – The Productive Garden City”—bringing together architecture, greenery, living and commerce.
Symbolic. Unique. Durable. Livable.
Four ideas at the heart of the proposal, and a strong starting point for what comes next.

A night dedicated to Malaysia’s tigers.

On 8 October, VERITAS Group President David Mizan Hashim, in his role as Deputy President of RIMAU, attended the Tiger’s World Royal Benefit Screening at Aurum Theatre, The Exchange TRX.

The evening was honoured by the presence of HRH Sultan Nazrin Muizzuddin Shah and HRH Tuanku Zara Salim, in support of RIMAU’s tiger conservation efforts.
The screening offered a glimpse into the hidden lives of Malaysia’s wild tigers through remote-camera footage from the rainforest—highlighting a magnificent yet vulnerable part of our natural heritage.

Building better—not just greener.

On 8 October, VERITAS Principal Ar. Michael Tan took the stage at Hubexo’s BuildBetter 2026 Kuala Lumpur for his industry talk, “Building Better, Not Just Greener: Design, Dollar, and Durability.”
A conversation about balancing design, value and durability—and looking beyond “green” to ask what truly makes a building better.

Houseboat. Rainforest. Good company.

On 25–26 September, 31 VERITASians traded the office for the waters of Royal Belum for a getaway organised by VSSC.
For two days, the houseboat was home—bringing together boat rides, nature, good food and plenty of laughs.
The trip also included a visit to Kampung Orang Asli Klewang, with VFE helping turn a fun getaway into an opportunity to connect with the local community and give back.
A little adventure. A lot of good company. And something meaningful to take home.

Conversations Beyond the Boardroom
On 30 September and 1 October, VERITAS Principal Azril Jaafar joined the panel at GD Properties ’ KL360 Private Investors Evening, held at the KL360 Sales Gallery, Star Boulevard, Kuala Lumpur.
The two-evening gathering brought together investors and industry leaders for conversations around the property landscape, investment and the opportunities shaping the future of the built environment.
We’re pleased to see our Principal contributing to these industry conversations and sharing perspectives alongside fellow professionals and investors.

Our Principal, Alif Arif, was honoured to speak at the Medora One Phase 2 launch on 19 September 2026

He shared the design story behind the development focusing on the 780 residential units of Towers A & B, a community shaped around one idea: homes where every generation can thrive together.

- ⁠Infinity pools
