Scrape off loose or peeling rust and paint, then prepare the metal surface properly before applying new paint.

Simply painting over a weak or peeling surface may affect the finish and adhesion of the new paint.

Before painting, itโ€™s important to check the condition of the existing roof. Damaged or broken tiles may need to be replaced first.

For this project, we carried out roof tile replacement together with the roof painting works.

A proper check and preparation before painting can help prevent bigger problems later.

This is one reason painting prices can differ. Itโ€™s not always just about the paint โ€” the condition of the surface and the preparation required matter too.

You donโ€™t always need a complicated ceiling design.
Sometimes, a simple flat ceiling with an L-box and the right lighting is already enough to give the space a clean and comfortable look.

You can also add a little colour or detail to make it more interesting without making the ceiling too busy.

If youโ€™re not sure what would work for your home, we can have a look and share some ideas.

For this post, weโ€™re sharing how the plaster ceiling, bedhead partition, curves, lighting details, and colour paint finishing were brought together to achieve the intended look.

From the finer details to the overall finishing, every element was carefully executed according to the design creating a space that feels cohesive and true to the original vision.
