Kee Yen Architect + KY Architects Sdn. Bhd. A Malaysian architecture practice that committed to creative-thinking and thorough design solutions. Kee Yen Architect (KYA) was established by Ar. Lim Kee Yen.

It is a young Malaysian architectural practice, experienced in multi-disciplinary projects, such as residential, commercial, mixed-used developments and master planning. His works has been selected by Pertubuhan Arkitek Malaysia |PAM| (Malaysian Institute of Architects) to be published under the book"30 Under 40" which featured 30 emerging Malaysian architects below 40 years of age.

KYA is now registered under MBPJ PA24.

KY Architects is pleased to share that we have successfully completed MBPJ’s PA24 Consultant Registration Programme.

This registration enables KYA to submit eligible developments under MBPJ’s PA24 initiative, an accelerated system for processing and approval of Kebenaran Merancang (KM) within 24 hours, subject to MBPJ’s requirements.

While not every project qualifies, the initiative represents an important step towards reducing bureaucracy and improving efficiency in the development approval process.

For our clients, this means that qualifying projects can potentially enjoy:
• Faster planning approval
• Reduced waiting time
• Earlier commencement of construction
• More efficient project delivery

At KYA, we believe architecture also about understanding processes, regulations and approvals so projects move forward smoothly.

We are honoured that our Founder, Ar. Lim Kee Yen, received the Icon Alumni Award from the Faculty of Design and Architecture (FRSB), Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) in conjunction with the Faculty’s 30th Anniversary Celebration.

It was a wonderful evening reconnecting with lecturers and university mates, reminiscing about the journey that shaped who we are today.

Thank you, FRSB UPM, for this meaningful recognition. We are grateful and look forward to continuing our pursuit of thoughtful and meaningful architecture.
