在此次中国行业交流行程中，森州水喉同业公会（PTPNS）会长 很荣幸参与由 MPAM 组织的代表团，并联同 PPA及SPA 代表，一同参访位于中国温岭的 LEO利欧泵业，展开商务与技术交流。

此次参访让代表团能够亲身了解利欧在水泵技术、生产制造、产品研发及综合泵组解决方案方面的发展与应用，并从实际的生产与技术层面获得宝贵的行业资讯。

对于水喉及水务行业而言，随着科技不断进步，持续学习与掌握新技术是推动行业发展的重要一环。利欧在技术创新、生产效率以及智慧水务解决方案方面的经验，为我们带来了许多值得参考与思考的新视角。

与此同时，这次交流的意义不仅在于技术层面，更重要的是进一步促进了马中两国水喉及水务业界之间的联系与互动，为未来的专业交流、经验分享及合作发展奠定更好的基础。

🇲🇾🤝🇨🇳 Strengthening Malaysia–China Plumbing Industry Cooperation

As part of the industry exchange programme in China, PTPNS Chairman was honoured to join the MPAM delegation, together with representatives from PPA and SPA, on a technical and business visit to LEO Pump in Wenling, China.

The visit provided an excellent platform for us to gain first-hand insights into LEO’s advanced pumping technologies, manufacturing capabilities and integrated pumping solutions.

For the plumbing and water industry, keeping pace with technological advancement is essential. The exposure to LEO’s approach towards product innovation, manufacturing efficiency and intelligent water solutions gave us valuable perspectives that can contribute to the continued development of our industry in Malaysia.

More importantly, visits of this nature create opportunities for industry-to-industry engagement, knowledge sharing and stronger professional relationships between Malaysia and China.

PTPNS believes that continuous learning and meaningful collaboration are important in preparing our industry for the future. We look forward to strengthening these connections and creating more opportunities for our members to learn, connect and grow.

🇲🇾🤝🇨🇳 走出去，看见技术；聚同行，共创未来

很荣幸以 森美兰州水喉同业公会（PTPNS）Chairman 的身份，受 马来西亚水喉公会总会（Master Plumbers Association Malaysia, MPAM）邀请，参与此次中国浙江临海技术考察与行业交流活动。

此次共有 27名马来西亚水喉业代表参与，来自 森美兰州水喉同业公会（PTPNS）、霹雳水喉同业公会（Perak Plumbers Association）及沙巴水喉同业公会（Sabah Plumber Association），在 MPAM 的推动与协调下，共同参与这次技术考察。

🏭 伟星新材技术考察

我们参观生产基地及智能制造生产线，深入了解：

• PPR、HDPE/PE 管道系统
• 电熔连接技术及配套管件
• 自动化生产与品质检测
• 数字化管理及产品追溯

🌧️ Fastflow 技术分享

同时学习现代建筑雨水及排水解决方案，包括：

• Siphonic Rainwater Drainage 虹吸雨水系统
• 加压雨水排放系统
• 高层建筑排水方案

这次交流让我深刻体会到，未来的水喉行业已经不只是“装管”，而是结合设计、材料、施工、标准及系统解决方案的专业工程。

对于马来西亚而言，面对城市发展、强降雨、管网漏损（NRW）及日益复杂的基础设施需求，我们更需要持续学习和提升专业水平。

更重要的是，这次让来自森美兰、霹雳及沙巴的同行走在一起。

一个公会的力量有限，但当各州同业加强合作，通过 MPAM 连接国际技术与行业伙伴，我们能够为整个马来西亚水喉行业创造更大的价值。

感谢 MPAM 的邀请与推动，感谢伟星新材及 Fastflow 团队的热情接待与专业分享，也感谢一路同行的各州水喉业同仁。

作为 PTPNS Chairman，我期待未来继续推动更多跨州、跨国的技术交流与专业学习，把好的经验带回马来西亚，为我们的会员及下一代水喉专业人士创造更多机会。

🇲🇾🤝🇨🇳 Stepping Out to Learn, Connecting to Grow

It was a great honour for me, as Chairman of Persatuan Tukang Paip Negeri Sembilan (PTPNS), to be invited by the Master Plumbers Association Malaysia (MPAM) to participate in this technical visit and industry exchange programme in Linhai, Zhejiang, China.

The 27-member Malaysian delegation brought together plumbing industry representatives from Persatuan Tukang Paip Negeri Sembilan (PTPNS), Perak Plumbers Association and Sabah Plumber Association, providing a valuable platform for cross-state cooperation and professional exchange.

🏭 Technical Visit to Weixing New Building Materials

We had the opportunity to visit the manufacturing facilities and smart production lines, gaining insights into:

• PPR and HDPE/PE piping systems
• Electrofusion technology and specialised fittings
• Automated manufacturing and quality inspection
• Digital production management and product traceability

🌧️ Technical Sharing by Fastflow

We also gained valuable knowledge on modern rainwater and drainage solutions, including:

• Siphonic Rainwater Drainage
• Pressurised rainwater systems
• High-rise building drainage solutions

What impressed me most was seeing how the plumbing industry is evolving beyond conventional pipe installation towards a more integrated, professional and system-based approach, combining design, materials, installation, standards and performance.

For Malaysia, these developments are highly relevant as we continue to face challenges involving rapid urban development, heavy rainfall, water management, network leakage and increasingly demanding infrastructure requirements.

More importantly, this visit brought together fellow plumbers from Negeri Sembilan, Perak and Sabah.

As individual associations, our reach may be limited. But when associations work together, supported by MPAM and connected with international industry partners, we can create much greater opportunities for knowledge sharing, professional development and industry advancement.

I sincerely appreciate MPAM for the invitation and initiative, as well as Weixing New Building Materials and the Fastflow team for their warm hospitality and valuable technical sharing.

I am also grateful to all fellow plumbing industry colleagues who travelled together and contributed to the meaningful exchange throughout the journey.

As Chairman of PTPNS, I look forward to continuing to promote more inter-state and international technical exchanges, bringing valuable knowledge and new perspectives back to Malaysia for the benefit of our members and the next generation of plumbing professionals.

KOTA KINABALU: Negeri Sembilan Plumber Association President Wayne Chow said plumbing contractors are largely responsible for the pricing crisis they face and that competing on cost alone is destroying quality and long-term performance.

“The pricing pressure actually comes from ourselves,” Chow said at the Plumbing Asia 2026 Conference and Expo held at the Sabah International Convention Centre, recently.
