Every masterpiece begins with a vision.

This award-winning booth is the result of a remarkable collaboration between Stone Empire, BOFI, and Michelle Yap , where creativity, craftsmanship, and innovation came together to tell the story of humanity's relationship with stone.

At the centre of the experience stands The First Hearth, a striking sculpture constructed with a fibreglass and bottom base made from travertine stone by Stone Empire.

Discover the details that brought the journey to life:
🪨 Tomahawk & Steak – meticulously crafted from natural stone.
🎵 Lithophone & Booth Backdrop – created using Neolith, transforming stone into both visual art and sound.
🐒 And of course, the return of last year's favourite, our iconic monkey. Definitely not a monkey business.

We are incredibly honoured that the Stone Empire booth received the ARCHIDEX 2026 Best Booth Award – Gold. This achievement reflects the passion and dedication of everyone involved in bringing this concept to life.

Meet Michelle Yap, the visionary artist behind The First Hearth, created in collaboration with the Stone Empire team.

Inspired by the origins of human civilization, the sculpture symbolizes our first connection with stone, fire, and community. Crafted from natural travertine with a glowing crystalline core, it represents humanity’s journey from survival to innovation.
