K.I. Engineering Sdn. Bhd. is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our team!
📍 Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor
💼 Position: Quantity Surveyor
⏰ Employment: Full-Time
💰 Salary: RM2,500 – RM3,000 per month

🏗️ About the Role
The successful candidate will be involved in quantity surveying, tendering, cost control, payment certification, variation management, and other commercial activities throughout the project lifecycle.
This opportunity is suitable for fresh graduates as well as candidates with 1–2 years of relevant experience who are looking to develop their career in the construction and quantity surveying field.
📋 Key Responsibilities
🔹 Perform quantity take-off from drawings, specifications, and project documents
🔹 Prepare cost estimates, project budgets, and Bills of Quantities (BQ)
🔹 Source, obtain, and evaluate quotations from subcontractors and suppliers
🔹 Prepare quotation comparisons and tender evaluation reports
🔹 Monitor project costs, budgets, and cost variations
🔹 Assist in preparing Interim Payment Certificates (IPC), Variation Orders (VO), and Final Accounts
🔹 Liaise with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and relevant parties
🔹 Assist with cost control and proper commercial documentation
🔹 Prepare cost reports, progress reports, and project-related documentation
🔹 Perform other quantity surveying and commercial duties as assigned
🎯 Requirements
✅ Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
✅ Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
✅ 1–2 years of relevant experience is an added advantage
✅ Basic knowledge of construction processes, quantity surveying, and cost management
✅ Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office
✅ Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
✅ Good communication and interpersonal skills
✅ Detail-oriented, organised, responsible, and willing to learn
✅ Able to work independently and effectively in a team
✅ Willing to work in a project/construction environment
