It came as I was having a coffee on a roadside café looking into a construction site where a basic shed for temporary accommodation was being erected. A true form that follows function.

For the past few months, I have been looking back on a journey that began more than 25 years ago.

What started as a simple interest in architecture gradually became a lifelong pursuit of ideas, people, places, successes, failures, lessons, and growth.

This monograph is not a portfolio. It is a collection of stories, reflections, sketches, projects, and moments that shaped the architect and person I have become.

From youthful ambition in The Cube, to ideological conviction in Menara MAIS, to the maturity of Stone Cave Residences, each project became a chapter in a much larger story.

Along the way, these experiences eventually evolved into my design philosophy — S.M.Ar.T.™ (Shape, Multi-functional, Architecture, Today & Tomorrow).
