Modern Muji at home, yay or nay?

For and , it’s an enthusiastic yes. Alongside Hannah from Jupiter I Design, we're bringing this vision to life as cabinetry is installed across a bustling ground floor, where both teams collaborate closely.

As the tour continues, Hannah breaks down what the Modern Muji-inspired concept means for this home and how Henley and Pauline’s preferences shaped it. Elvis then takes us through one of the details that sets this project apart // a mix of aluminium, plywood and melamine throughout the cabinetry, bringing together three very different materials in one home, with aluminium adding a more premium touch.

Of course, a project like this comes with a few challenges too. Hannah and Elvis share some of the trickier parts along the way // but we’ll leave those for you to discover near the end.

At our ongoing project site in Puchong, the cabinetry is beginning to illustrate a harmonious blend of concealed and open storage. Closed cabinets effectively hide the more cluttered areas, while the open sections provide easy access to everyday items. Short floating shelves extend the cabinetry onto the wall without crowding the space, creating a more airy atmosphere.

We're embarking on an exciting journey in Subang Jaya! For Pauline Tan & Henley Hii 许亮宇, what began as mere ideas and discussions is now transforming into reality on-site, and we want you to join us every step of the way.

With Elvis steering the project and Hannah Ho bringing the design to life, those initial concepts are now being diligently developed in the actual space. We're exchanging ideas, fine-tuning details, and growing more enthusiastic as the home begins to take form.
