Excited to spearhead the Sustainability Pillar for MIID REKA Design Week 2026.

Under the theme Waste to Worth, we explore how design can extend the life of materials through reuse, repair, adaptation and circular thinking thereby transforming what is often discarded into something valuable again.

For us, sustainability is not just about creating “green” products. It is about making smarter design decisions, reducing waste, and creating greater value from the resources we already have.

Join us from 17–20 September 2026 at Pavilion Damansara Heights.

A milestone in my architectural journey that I never imagined! Timber Flow: The Folded Crest, originally designed for the Malaysian Timber Council (MTC) at ARCHIDEX 2025, has found a permanent home at Istana Budaya, Malaysia’s National Cultural Palace and was officially launched by Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture KSU YBhg. Dato’ Shaharuddin bin Abu Sohot alongside MTC CEO, Pn Noraihan Abdul Rahman.

Inspired by the traditional Malay tanjak, the installation is crafted from Malaysian timbers namely Kembang Semangkuk and Chengal, reinterpreting cultural heritage through contemporary architectural expression.

To see a temporary installation transcend its original purpose and become part of a national cultural institution is incredibly meaningful, and certainly one of the proudest milestones of my career thus far.

Now permanently displayed on the Ground Floor alongside traditional Malay tanjak from different states and eras.

Do drop by and experience it in person!

It’s a three-peat—2024, 2025 and 2026!

Honoured to collaborate with Lumbermart as architect for Gasing, winner of the ARCHIDEX 2026 Best Curated Booth Award, marking our third consecutive win after Weaving Waves in 2024 and Timber Flow in 2025 with MTC.

Inspired by the rotational energy of the traditional Malay gasing, the pavilion transforms timber rods into a rising, twisting composition. Spaced 200 mm apart, each element rotates and ascends diagonally, creating a dynamic sense of movement while showcasing timber’s remarkable versatility.

Grateful to our client, collaborators and team for bringing this vision to life.

Excited to be working on something that rethinks the notion of exhibition, where architecture, materiality and experience come together. Looking forward to revealing it at Archidex 2026.

Delighted to share that our office has won our third consecutive national architectural design competition.

After 15 years, the dream of visiting Villa Savoye finally came true.

I first studied this iconic house in my second year of university back in 2011, where Le Corbusier’s Five Points of Architecture, pilotis, free plan, free façade, horizontal windows, and roof garden, were introduced to us through this very project.

What is most remarkable is that Villa Savoye was completed in 1931, nearly a century ago, yet it remains as relevant, influential, and timeless as ever. A true masterpiece that continues to inspire generations of architects.

Milano, a cosmopolitan city where history and contemporary architecture coexist seamlessly. From the grandeur of the Duomo Cathedral to the refined modern works of SANAA at Bocconi University, the city offers an inspiring dialogue between heritage and innovation.

Carlo Scarpa’s masterpiece, the Museo di Castelvecchio.

A remarkable example of how contemporary architecture can respectfully engage with history. Every sculpture is carefully positioned through orientation, height, and space, creating a choreographed journey through the museum. The experience culminates with the dramatic display of Cangrande della Scala’s equestrian statue, which is dramatically displayed on a raised platform.

Definitely one of the most remarkable cathedrals I have ever visited, the Duomo in Florence.

From its beautifully detailed marble façade to the breathtaking Last Judgment fresco beneath the dome, every corner is a masterpiece.

Designed by Filippo Brunelleschi and completed in 1436, the dome remains the largest masonry dome in the world, standing as an enduring symbol of Renaissance ingenuity and human ambition.

Dreamt of visiting the Nordic Pavilion by Sverre Fehn ever since my third year in university back in 2012. It was first introduced to me by my design tutor, Wendy Lewin, as a remarkable example of architecture expressed through simplicity, precision, and clarity of construction.

What makes the pavilion particularly compelling is the elegance of its roof fins, which simultaneously perform as environmental protection and as a device to diffuse natural light into the space, creating an architecture that feels restrained yet deeply atmospheric.
