Cantilever House / Design Unit Sdn Bhd

Cantilever House, designed by Design Unit Sdn Bhd, applies this structural idea to create a house that appears to float above a steep sloping site in Kuala Lumpur. The building uses exposed steel structures and concrete volumes, with the cantilevered spaces extending over the terrain. Large glass openings bring in natural light and provide views of the surrounding landscape, while features such as a swimming pool, green roof and courtyard add to the overall design.

Antara Gallery by EDI Architects

Antara Gallery by EDI Architects is a contemporary gallery in Cyberjaya, designed with a distinctive semi-circular form that responds to its corner site. The building combines raw clay bricks, concrete blocks and unfinished concrete, while a surrounding water feature creates reflections and brings natural light into the interior. Its internal street-like circulation also gives visitors a more dynamic spatial experience.
