The fragmented composition creates a sequence of solids and voids, framing views and allowing the landscape to become part of the experience.

With every new stage, the volumes, textures, and spatial character of the architecture become more present.

Casa Colomos begins with a simple premise: to live in the forest without leaving the city.

Adjacent to Bosque de Los Colomos, the architecture transforms its site conditions into an opportunity, turning the side façade into the home’s true front. Oriented toward the forest, the landscape becomes an essential part of everyday life.

White walls, wood, stone, and black metal reinterpret the Californian architectural language through a contemporary lens, while courtyards, openings, and carefully choreographed paths blur the boundaries between indoors and out.

Here, the forest is not something to look at from a distance. It is something to inhabit.

Casa Colomos is an architecture that does not seek to impose itself on nature, but to create a way of belonging to it.

RL Residence, a second home designed to embrace the landscape of Ajijic, Jalisco.

Set between the horizon of Lake Chapala and the strength of the surrounding mountains, the residence is organized into three volumes that frame the views while creating spaces for three generations to live and gather. Through a brutalist language of exposed concrete and natural wood, the architecture blends strength and warmth, allowing the landscape to become the true protagonist of everyday life.
