We had the pleasure of hosting students from TEC Campus Monterrey at our headquarters for the final review of their projects and an award presentation recognizing their hard work.

Throughout the semester, students leveraged Astyl's technical documentation and engineering specifications to develop architectural concepts with real-world manufacturing feasibility. In this final session, our engineering team provided direct technical feedback to help bridge the gap between design intent and physical ex*****on.
Special thanks to the university and professors Luis Fernando Villarreal and Anette Arámbula Mercado for fostering this crucial partnership between academia and the industry.

Behind these perforated metal panels, the Chimney Effect is at work:

1️⃣ Sun heats the metal: Outer panels absorb solar radiation.
2️⃣ Hot air rises: Trapped air in the cavity warms up and flows rapidly upward.
