For a Group like IBL, with businesses operating across sectors and regions, cybersecurity is no longer only about systems. It is about people, trust and the role each team can play in protecting what matters.

At the inaugural CrowdStrike Mauritius Cybersecurity Summit, our Cybersecurity Manager, Suman Luchmun, delivered a presentation titled “Empowerment Over Authority.”

Her message was clear: stronger cybersecurity is built not through control alone, but by empowering teams to protect our people, our businesses and the relationships we build every day. It is an approach rooted in our values of Truth, Trust and Togetherness.

Thank you to CrowdStrike and Elytis for the opportunity to exchange, learn and help shape a more secure digital future.

Big dreams start with great opportunities.

The young players of Western Cowboys Rugby Club are off to Réunion Island to take part in the Paille en Queue Tournament - a special moment for the team, and a proud one for Mauritius.

For them, rugby is more than a game. It is where they learn discipline, respect, humility and what it means to stand together like a family.

We are proud to support them as they take this step, meet other young players, build confidence and live an experience they will remember.

All the best to Western Cowboys Rugby Club in Réunion. 🇲🇺

Some people leave a company.
Others remain part of the story.
The IBL Retirees’ Circle brings together former colleagues who built friendships over decades of working together.
Today, years after retirement, they still meet regularly - not out of obligation but because those relationships still matter.

No two islands in the Indian Ocean are the same.

Across Réunion Island, Mauritius and Zanzibar, The Lux Collective is supporting initiatives linked to the needs of each destination - from protecting petrels and growing coral nurseries, to redistributing food, improving guest experiences, and helping women transform seaweed into natural products.

Featured in Guardians of the Indian Ocean, a 70-minute film by Mauritian director Asha Sumputh, these stories reflect something IBL values deeply: businesses that stay close to the places they are part of.

Last week, IBL Group was in Nairobi and Kigali for two major forums: Africa Forward and the Africa CEO Forum.

The events brought together businesses and decision-makers from Africa, Europe and the Indian Ocean, to discuss regional cooperation and investment as well as how to create stronger value chains and growth models grounded in local realities.

For IBL, these conversations speak directly to our Beyond Borders strategy. Regional growth is not simply about entering new markets - it requires an understanding of the contexts in which we operate, building trusted partnerships, and contributing to long-term solutions for the region.

With deep roots in Mauritius and a strong understanding of the Indian Ocean, IBL has a role to play in this wider regional conversation - working with partners to build platforms that respond to real needs.

The priority now is ex*****on: turning dialogue into real projects that create value for businesses, communities and the economies where we operate.

IBL delivered a solid financial performance for the nine months ended 31 March 2026.

Revenue grew 15.2% to Rs 94.8 billion, and operating profit increased by 25.4% to Rs 7.1 billion.

These results reflect the steady ex*****on of our Beyond Borders strategy and the continued momentum of our businesses across Mauritius, the Indian Ocean and East Africa in a complex environment.

Thank you to the teams, shareholders and partners who made this possible.

While Nairobi is still quiet at night, Naivas’ central bakery is already busy.

Ten years ago, Naivas took a bold step in transforming its bakery operations by establishing the Naivas Central Bakery. Today, the team produces over 15,000 loaves of bread daily through a 24-hour operation.

Moses Mugo, Head of Bakery at Naivas, takes us through the work that happens before products reach the shelves across around 56 stores in Nairobi — from night production to store orders and bakery essentials.

As one of Kenya’s leading supermarket chains, Naivas is part of IBL’s growth in East Africa. This short immersion brings us closer to the teams serving customers every day.

For 25 years, IBL Madagascar has grown alongside the country, building a strong nationwide presence across freight, aviation, tourism, and professional training.

At the heart of this journey is a team of more than 100 people, working closely with teams in Mauritius to support IBL Group’s long-term regional vision.

As the business continues to grow, the ambition remains clear: to grow responsibly, invest in people, and position Madagascar where it belongs - at the heart of regional trade and connectivity.
