Edison recently completed the installation of approximately 200 solar street lights along the A9 Road, providing reliable and energy-efficient illumination for the main roadway.

Each unit is equipped with a 100W Mono Solar Panel mounted on 9-metre poles and features a full die-cast aluminium luminaire designed to prevent corrosion and withstand harsh outdoor conditions. The system is powered by high-performance LiFePO4 batteries, ensuring optimal lighting throughout the night and offering more than 3 nights of autonomy during rainy weather.

The enlarged-capacity LED module, fitted with high-brightness Bridgelux LED chips, delivers up to 30% greater brightness, while the integrated sensing technology provides a detection range of over 8 metres.
