𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗡𝗦𝗟𝗗 𝗔𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁

Social housing deserves the same care as any address people are proud to call home. Delivered through DLB Construction's design-and-build concept, this project has brought 574 residences to life across two phases, 284 homes, then 290, built to exacting technical standards, with solid roads and genuine flood-resilience infrastructure.

Here, a market sustains daily life, shops meet daily needs, a hall gathers the community, and a football pitch and pétanque courts fill evenings with joy. Streets are shaped for walking, for meeting neighbours, for belonging.

Arsenal now stands complete, a living environment rooted in dignity, designed for community, and built to serve generations to come.

A few weeks ago, Ms Mélanie's house burned down. Today, the rebuild is underway. DLB Construction is on site, putting our tools, our people, and our time into getting her family back under a roof.

We've already made good progress, and we're grateful for everyone’s effort. But the house isn't finished.

Chez DLB Construction, nous tenons à rester proches des communautés dans lesquelles nous opérons.

C’est dans cet esprit que nous soutenons plusieurs ONG engagées dans des domaines essentiels : la santé, l’enfance, le soutien aux familles, la lutte contre la pauvreté, l’éducation, le sport, la protection animale et le développement communautaire.

Ces associations font un travail important sur le terrain. Elles accompagnent, soutiennent et apportent une aide concrète à ceux qui en ont besoin.

Nous sommes heureux de pouvoir contribuer, à notre niveau, à ces actions qui comptent pour les familles et les communautés à travers Maurice. 🫶

🔄 Throwback to the Welfare Committee’s first activity, organised in collaboration with the QS Department at DLB Curepipe.

Colleagues came together around a traditional ti puri and 7 cari lunch, in a relaxed setting away from the usual work routine. It was a chance to reconnect, share a good moment and keep alive the office tradition of gathering beyond desks, deadlines and daily pressure.

🙏 A special thank you to the QS Department for helping make this first initiative happen, and to everyone who contributed, supported and joined in.

A warm start to what we hope will be many more welfare initiatives. 🙌

We are pleased to announce the setting up of our Welfare Committee, an HR initiative designed to strengthen employee well-being, encourage teamwork and create a more positive and inclusive work environment.

The Committee brings together Jessen, Irfan, Christelle, Neha, Bina, Kathy, Lloyd, Yanesh, Vinesh, Naadiya, Anne-Sophie, Sophie, Thierry and Mala representing different departments and teams.

DLB Construction is seeking a dedicated professional for the role of Site Supervisor to support our construction projects while upholding our high standards of quality, safety and excellence.

Working under the supervision of the Site Manager, the ideal candidate should have a good understanding of construction site operations and the ability to coordinate workers, subcontractors and site activities effectively.

𝙍𝙚𝙨𝙥𝙤𝙣𝙨𝙞𝙗𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙚𝙨

• Supervise daily site works

• Monitor progress against work schedules

• Ensure compliance with drawings, specifications and procedures

• Support Health and Safety requirements on site

• Coordinate workers, materials and subcontractors

• Report site issues, delays and progress updates

• Help ensure quality, efficiency and discipline across site operations
