Making alterations in a finished apartment is never easy, but safety and standards should never be compromised. Designer drawings look great on screen, but bridging the gap between digital plans and site practicality requires hands-on problem solving.

The plumbing modifications are already complete, and we are moving steadily into the next phase.

Next Steps:

Distribution board (DB) upgrade

Finalizing piping and conduit wiring

Comprehensive electrical testing and inspection

This is what happens when you don't give the right attention to the electrical components in your house. If this was serviced properly, it would have been easily avoidable. But our mentality is always "if it’s not broken, don't fix it"... This could have burned down a whole block, but luckily we managed to catch it just in time.

Fried cooker socket due to a loose connection. All the original cables were terminated with ferrules, but the AC installer decided to remove them, causing the phase cable to come loose. All sorted now, followed by an insulation resistance test on all cables to ensure proper safety!

*​Improperly fed power supply that couldn't handle the load safely.

AFTER
*​Installed a dedicated 10mm 3-core double-insulated feed for maximum safety and performance.
*​Wired a new Distribution Unit with correctly rated Schneider Electric MCBs to match the actual load.
