"Nuno Soares，Urban Practice 首席建築師，將擔任 2026 年第 23 屆亞洲建築師協會（ARCASIA）論壇講者。本屆論壇主題為《重現…… 在地營造智慧》，於印度德里、阿格拉、齋浦爾三地舉辦。
Nuno Soares, Principal Architect at Urban Practice, will be a speaker at the 23rd ARCASIA Forum 2026, "Bringing Back… Vernacular Wisdom", taking place across Delhi, Agra and Jaipur, India.

亞洲建築師協會論壇是每兩年舉辦一次的亞洲區域重要盛會，匯聚全亞洲建築師，針對區域共同面臨的議題展開交流研討。本屆論壇核心探討：亞洲的在地營造智慧、傳統材料與空間營造手法，如何啟發當下，打造更具永續性、韌性與以人為本的城市。
The Arcasia Forum is a major regional gathering held every two years by the Architects Regional Council Asia, bringing together architects from across the continent for exchange and discussion on shared regional challenges. This edition centers on how Asia's vernacular wisdom, traditional materials, and spatial practices can inform more sustainable, resilient, human-centric cities today.

Nuno Soares 將參與專題座談會〈有靈魂的街道：超越建築立面的城市身份〉，與來自亞洲各地的建築師及學者一同探討，城市在快速都市化浪潮之下，該如何守護自身的獨特身份。
Nuno Soares will join the panel discussion "Streets with Soul: Urban Identity Beyond Facades", alongside architects and academics from across Asia, exploring how cities can hold onto their identity in the face of rapid urbanization.

十年前，Urban Practice團隊承接了澳門其中一座歷史最悠久建築的燈光設計挑戰。 Ten years ago, Urban Practice took on a lighting design challenge inside one of Macau’s oldest buildings.

望德堂為始建於十六世紀之文物建築，本次面對的難題亦是眾多古蹟室內空間常見的挑戰：如何在不動工、不改動原有空間結構的前提下，提升室內光環境品質。
For St. Lazarus’ Church, a heritage-listed building founded in the 16th century, the challenge was a common one in heritage interiors: how to improve the quality of light without any construction work or alterations to the existing space.

Urban Practice團隊直接與燈具製造商合作，研發出配備非對稱配光設計的特製燈具；針對教堂中殿原有燈具的擺放位置，一側拓寬光線照射範圍、另一側收窄光束，令整體照明更均勻協調。
Working directly with lighting manufacturers, Urban Practice developed a custom fixture with an asymmetric light distribution, widening the beam on one side of the nave and narrowing it on the other to respond to the existing fixture positions and achieve a more balanced illumination.

透過完整研發流程打造的這套專屬照明方案，最終成功提升教堂內部光線品質，同時完整保留建築本身獨有的歷史風貌。
The result was a tailored lighting solution developed through research and development, improving the quality of light within the church while respecting its existing character.

隨著為在九號碼頭‑創意空間中深透城市辦公室的 ARC 永續績效評估持續推進，團隊已完成室內空氣品質（IAQ）監測階段，用以評估影響使用者健康與日常工作表現的環境條件。As the ARC Sustainability Performance Assessment advances at Urban Practice HQ located in Ponte 9 - Creative Platform, the team has completed the indoor air quality (IAQ) monitoring phase to evaluate the conditions that shape occupant health and daily performance.

做為澳門首個導入 ARC 評估的商業空間，九號碼頭正為數據導向的室內環境樹立新指標。空氣品質會直接影響認知表現與長期身心健康，因此即時營運數據對於現代設施管理至關重要。As the first commercial space in Macau to adopt ARC, Ponte 9 is establishing a new benchmark for data-driven indoor environments. Air quality directly impacts cognitive performance and long-term well-being, making real-time operational metrics essential for modern facility management.

本次評估由內部團隊依據 ARC 規範執行，將實體空間數據轉化為可供全球對照的分析見解。在當下，主動式環境監測，是所有重視使用者福祉、希望讓營運模式具備未來適應力的空間，所應具備的前瞻重要標準。Conducted in-house in accordance with ARC requirements, this evaluation translates physical space data into globally benchmarked insights. Today, proactive environmental monitoring is a vital, forward-thinking standard for any space seeking to safeguard its people and future-proof its operations.

九號碼頭創意空間（Ponte 9 - Creative Platform）的 ARC 永續營運表現評估持續進行中，Urban Practice 同步展開交通運輸效能評估，藉此檢視並減低日常通勤帶來的環境影響。
As the ARC Sustainability Performance Assessment at Ponte 9 - Creative Platform continues, Urban Practice is conducting a transportation performance evaluation to assess and reduce the environmental impact of daily commuting.

九號碼頭創意空間坐落於內港核心地帶，地理位置先天具備完善的永續通勤條件。辦公場所門口即有通往澳門各區域的巴士站，事務所亦備有公用單車，不少團隊成員平時選擇電動單車代步，綠色通勤早已成為團隊日常。此外，內港客運碼頭就近連接，可透過海路往返中國內地。
Situated at the center of the Inner Harbour, Ponte 9’s location supports sustainable transit. With bus stations connecting to all directions of the city at the doorstep, a fleet of company bicycles, and team members opting for e-bikes, green commuting is already a professional daily reality here. The hub is also connected to Mainland China by sea via the Inner Harbour Ferry Terminal.

鑒於交通往來是碳足跡的重要來源，本次評估階段將記錄員工及訪客的通勤移動模式。相關數據將透過 ARC 平台與全球標準對照參考，優化濱水岸線的綠色移動方式與場域可達性。
Because transportation contributes to carbon footprints, this phase tracks the transit patterns of the team and visitors. Through the ARC platform, this data will be benchmarked globally to optimize green mobility and accessibility along the waterfront.

Urban Practice 在粵華中學人工智能實驗室為一套完整設計建造一體化工程，打造沉浸式空間，供師生探索各項未來科技。
Urban Practice’s AI LAB at Yuet Wah College is a complete design-and-build project that establishes an immersive environment for exploring the technologies of the future.

此空間突破傳統課室框架，運用充滿未來感的設計語彙與高階科技設備，激發學生的好奇心、創造力與團隊協作能力。設計同時兼顧永續發展理念，採用節能 LED 照明系統，並選用源自大灣區在地的低碳建材，達成設計與環保的平衡。
Beyond a traditional classroom, the space uses a futurist design language and high-tech infrastructure to encourage student curiosity, creativity, and collaboration. This design is balanced by a commitment to sustainability, utilizing energy-efficient LED systems and low-carbon materials sourced regionally from the Greater Bay Area.

整體空間專為粵華中學的教學目標量身規劃，打造獨特學習場域，契合校方教育理念。本項目屬澳門政府資助、於校園設立人工智能實驗室的先導計劃之一，Urban Practice 與項目統籌及總承建商網通資訊科技有限公司緊密合作，完成這項因地制宜的設計建造工程。
The space was designed specifically to meet Yuet Wah College's pedagogical objectives, resulting in a unique learning environment aligned with their educational vision. Developed as part of a government-sponsored pilot program introducing AI Labs in Macao schools, Urban Practice delivered this site-specific response in close collaboration with project coordinator and main contractor Netcom Information Technology Co., Ltd.

Urban Practice 為新近啟用的聖若瑟大學服務中心打造室內設計，建構出一體連貫的辦公空間，將多項服務整合至同一場域。
Urban Practice’s interior design for the recently opened USJ Service Centre creates a cohesive workspace, bringing multiple services into one integrated location.

獨立隔牆輕柔劃分各功能區域，同時維持空間通透感，引導自然光線穿透室內。
Freestanding walls subtly define functional zones while maintaining openness and allowing natural light to filter through.

整體營造清晰、高效的環境，為師生提供完善支援。
The result is a clear, efficient environment that supports both students and faculty.

Urban Practice is conducting the ARC Sustainability Performance Assessment at Ponte 9 - Creative Platform, the official headquarters of UP, located at Macau’s Inner Harbour.

九號頭創意空間向來將永續發展措施深度融入日常專業營運之中，因此推動 ARC 評估實施是順理成章的下一步。該辦公空間透過數據量化並持續優化現有營運模式，逐步轉型為以數據效能為核心的智慧設施管理模式，為澳門永續辦公場域樹立新標竿。
With sustainable measures deeply embedded in its professional daily operations, Ponte 9 making the implementation of the Arc assessment a natural next step. By leveraging data to measure and continuously improve its existing practices, the workplace is transitioning toward smart, performance-driven facility management, establishing a new benchmark for sustainable workplaces in Macao.

ARC 是由 GBCI 與 USGBC 推出、以數據為基礎的評估平台，著重衡量建築真實的日常營運效能，而非僅參考靜態設計規劃。平台透過追蹤能源、用水、使用者體驗等關鍵指標的驗證數據，將日常設施使用與空間運作數據轉換為國際認可的永續評比標準。
ARC is a data-driven platform by the GBCI and USGBC that measures real, daily operational efficiency rather than static design intents. By tracking verified data across key metrics like energy, water, and human experience, it translates everyday utility and space data into recognized international benchmarks.

In a recent interview with Revista Macau, Urban Practice Principal Architect and Urbanist Nuno Soares explores the newly revised urban planning proposal for Northern Taipa, shifting the conversation around the city's growth.

隨區域一體化發展逐步舒緩住宅密度帶來的壓力，Nuno Soares提出一項發人深省的觀點：我們終於可以懷抱更高遠的規劃理想，打造一座真正讓人嚮往安居的城市。
With regional integration now easing the pressure on housing density, Nuno Soares leaves us with an inspiring thought: we should finally have the ambition to design a city where we truly love to live.

As Northern Taipa evolves, he urges a focus on quality of life and heritage preservation. He reminds us that a successful urban landscape requires a human scale, creating genuine neighborhoods rather than just functional zones. "The city belongs to a giant group of people," he notes, "but a neighborhood should serve a community."
