Urban Practice 近期迎來香港中文大學建築系三年級學生 Gordon，加入團隊展開實習。這段經歷讓他親身參與澳門項目的專業實務工作，亦呼應我們培育新一代建築師與設計師的目標。
Urban Practice recently welcomed Gordon, a 3rd-year architecture student from The Chinese University of Hong Kong 香港中文大學 - CUHK, for an internship with our team. The experience gave him hands-on exposure to professional practice on projects in Macau, supporting our mission to nurture future architects and designers.

是次實習由首席建築師 Nuno Soares 統籌，Gordon 參與多項建築研究工作，並與事務所不同團隊協作。在澳門獨特的建成環境之下，本次實習搭建知識交流的平台，啟發將來塑造城市景觀及更多領域的新生代。
Under the coordination of Principal Architect Nuno Soares, Gordon took part in architectural exercises and collaborated across the firm. In Macau’s unique built environment, this internship offered a platform to share knowledge and inspire the next generation who will shape our cityscape and beyond.

Urban Practice 首席建築師、城市規劃師 Nuno Soares 近日接受澳門電視台（TDM Canal Macau）專訪，針對澳門的城市更新議題提出頗具時效性的見解。
In a recent interview with TDM Canal Macau, Urban Practice Principal Architect and Urbanist Nuno Soares shared a timely reflection on Macau's urban renewal.

他表示，城市在朝正向發展更新的過程中，應當避免淪為自身歷史的「主題樂園」，務必保留澳門街區以及在地社群的真實面貌。
As the city renews in a positive direction, he believes it should resist becoming a "theme park" version of its own history and instead preserve the authenticity of Macau's neighborhoods and the communities within them.

Nuno Soares 指出，澳門層疊交錯的城市肌理足以證明，這裡的文化遺產至今仍是人們日常生活的一部分；城市更新應守護並重新演繹這種活態的城市特質。
Nuno Soares points to Macau's layered urban fabric as proof that its heritage is something still lived every day, and that renewal should protect and reinvent that living character.

深透城市主創建築師蘇偉圖於 9 月 12 日在第 23 屆亞洲建築師協會論壇（Arcasia Forum）擔任演講嘉賓，參與主題為“有靈魂的街道：立面之外的城市特質”技術專場國際圓桌討論，本場由建築師Reza Kabul主持。
Urban Practice Principal Architect Nuno Soares was a speaker on September 12 at the 23rd Arcasia Forum, joining an international panel for the Technical Session "Streets with Soul: Urban Identity Beyond Facades," moderated by Ar. Reza Kabul.

蘇偉圖發表題為《澳門內港的兩條街道：內港南岸公共領域概念總體規劃》的主題演講，分享深透城市如何重新構想澳門歷史濱水區的公共空間與城市認同。
Nuno Soares presented the keynote "Two Streets in Macau's Inner Harbour: Southern Inner Harbour Public Domain Conceptual Masterplan," sharing insights into Urban Practice's approach to reimagining public space and urban identity in Macau's historic waterfront.

本場圓桌匯聚多位知名建築師與學者，包括Segene Park教授、建築師Melvin Tan、建築師Shamini Shanker。一眾嘉賓共同探討街道如何形塑城市的文化與社會認同，同時也受其影響；議題跳出建築立面本身，深入探討城市肌理的內在內涵。
The panel featured a distinguished group of architects and educators, including Prof. Ar. Segene Park, Ar. Melvin Tan, and Ar. Shamini Shanker, who together explored how streets shape, and are shaped by, the cultural and social identity of a city, going beyond mere facades to consider the deeper urban fabric.

Urban Practice 首席建築師 Nuno Soares 於印度舉辦的第 23 屆亞洲建築師協會論壇（ARCASIA Forum）期間，出席了亞洲建築教育委員會（ACAE）會議。這場在印度阿格拉舉行的會議成果豐碩，會議重點為推動亞洲各地建築設計的教育標準與未來發展方向。
Urban Practice Principal Architect Nuno Soares attended the ACAE Committee Meeting at the 23rd Arcasia Forum in India. A productive series of sessions in Agra, India, focused on advancing educational standards and future directions for architectural design across Asia.

Nuno Soares 同時擔任聯合國教科文組織－國際建築師聯盟認證委員會（UNESCO-UIA Validation Board）聯合主任、亞洲建築師協會 C 區前副主席、亞洲建築教育委員會（ACAE）前主席，長期深度參與各項建築教育計劃，帶動區域建築領域發展。本次他以澳門建築師協會（AAM）正式代表的身分與會。
Nuno Soares, who serves as Co-Director of the UNESCO - Union Internationale des Architectes (UIA) Validation Board, former Vice-President of ARCASIA Zone C, and past Chairman of ACAE, has been deeply involved in driving regional leadership across these architectural education initiatives. He attended the gathering as an official delegate representing the Architects Association of Macau (AAM).

As part of the ongoing ARC Sustainability Performance Assessment at Urban Practice Headquarters, located in Ponte 9 – Creative Platform, the team has completed its Human Experience survey, gathering direct feedback from the people who use the space every day.

Ponte 9 – Creative Platform匯集了多元化的建築師、設計師和創意專業人士，深知用戶在環境中的感受與環境的表現同樣重要。此次調查涵蓋了用戶在舒適度、空氣品質和整體健康等關鍵領域的滿意度。
Home to a diverse community of architects, designers, and creative professionals, Ponte 9 – Creative Platform understands that how people feel in an environment matters as much as how it performs. The survey captured user satisfaction across key areas such as comfort, air quality, and overall wellbeing within the workplace.

透過ARC平台，這些回饋轉化為全球通用的「人性化體驗」評分，從而完成了評估的另一個關鍵環節。 Urban Practice透過直接傾聽使用者的聲音，持續建立永續發展與以人為本設計完美融合的辦公室標竿。
Through the ARC platform, these responses are translated into a globally benchmarked Human Experience score, completing another key pillar of the assessment. Nuno Soares, Principal Architect at Urban Practice, will be a speaker at the RHEA Fall International Workshop 2026, taking place online from September 5th to 11th.

9 月 5 日，作為開幕專家講座單元之一，在密集設計課開始之前，Nuno Soares 將帶來題為《邁向以人為本的濱水岸線》的分享，闡述空間實務的相關見解。
On September 5th, as part of the opening Expert Lectures series, sharing insights on spatial practice ahead of the workshop's intensive design sessions, Nuno Soares will present "Towards Waterfronts for People".

RHEA 國際工作坊第 21 屆，探討城市設計如何處理陸地與水域的交界地帶，提升城市韌性、生態環境與公共市民生活。在為期一周的活動中，參加者將在導師帶領下進行分組研討與階段評圖，為三處濱水基地研發創新設計方案，分別為拉脫維亞里加、印度阿馬拉瓦蒂、美國明尼蘇達州迪普沃特。
The 21st edition of RHEA International Workshops explores how urban design can navigate the threshold between land and water to enhance resilience, ecology, and civic life. Throughout the week, participants will collaborate in mentor-guided breakout sessions and interim reviews, designing innovative solutions for waterfront sites in Riga (Latvia), Amaravati (India), and Deepwater, Minnesota (USA).

Representing the Architects Association of Macau, Nuno has been actively involved with CIALP since 2009. The Arcasia Forum is a major regional gathering held every two years by the Architects Regional Council Asia, bringing together architects from across the continent for exchange and discussion on shared regional challenges. 十年前，Urban Practice團隊承接了澳門其中一座歷史最悠久建築的燈光設計挑戰。 Ten years ago, Urban Practice took on a lighting design challenge inside one of Macau’s oldest buildings.

望德堂為始建於十六世紀之文物建築，本次面對的難題亦是眾多古蹟室內空間常見的挑戰：如何在不動工、不改動原有空間結構的前提下，提升室內光環境品質。
For St. Lazarus’ Church, a heritage-listed building founded in the 16th century, the challenge was a common one in heritage interiors: how to improve the quality of light without any construction work or alterations to the existing space.

Urban Practice團隊直接與燈具製造商合作，研發出配備非對稱配光設計的特製燈具；針對教堂中殿原有燈具的擺放位置，一側拓寬光線照射範圍、另一側收窄光束，令整體照明更均勻協調。
Working directly with lighting manufacturers, Urban Practice developed a custom fixture with an asymmetric light distribution, widening the beam on one side of the nave and narrowing it on the other to respond to the existing fixture positions and achieve a more balanced illumination.

透過完整研發流程打造的這套專屬照明方案，最終成功提升教堂內部光線品質，同時完整保留建築本身獨有的歷史風貌。
The result was a tailored lighting solution developed through research and development, improving the quality of light within the church while respecting its existing character.
