Things you should know before picking up a plant!
It’s a wonderful and beautiful thing to start growing a plant! It can help you both physically and mentally. And plus, a great support to our mother earth! But if you are an amateur in growing plants, these are the things you should consider before picking up a plant!
အပင်စိုက်ဖို့မရွေးချယ်ခင် သိထားသင့်တဲ့အချက်များ
သစ်ပင်စိုက်တာက ကမ္ဘာကြီးအတွက်အကျိုးပြုသာမက ကိုယ့်အတွက်လည်းကိုယ်ခန္တာကျန်းမာရေးနဲ့ စိတ်ကျန်းမာရေးအတွက်လည်း အများကြီးအထောက်အကူပြုပါတယ်။
အပင်စိုက်ဖို့ဆုံးဖြတ်ပြီးပေမယ့်အခုမှစစိုက်မယ့်လူတွေအတွက် သိထားသင့်တဲ့အချက်လေးတွေ မျှဝေပေးလိုက်ပါတယ်။
1. Know your environment!
At first, you should know your environment in which you are growing your plants! Whether it’s a room or an apartment or a yard! It includes the physical conditions of your environment like room temperature and sunlight. If you are going to grow it in your room or an apartment, there might not be enough sunlight and it might be air conditioned. So resilient indoor plants may be your best choice! But if your apartment has a wide veranda, you can choose some outdoor plants too! If you have your own yard, you can freely choose your favorite plants, not limited to only indoor plants!
၁။ ကိုယ်စိုက်မယ့်ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ကိုသိပါ။
အရင်ဆုံးကကိုယ်အပင်စိုက်မယ့်နေရာက အခန်းထဲလား၊ တိုက်ခန်းမှာလား၊ ဝရန်တာမှာလားဆိုတာအရင်ဆုံးဖြတ်ပါ။ ပြီးရင်တော့အဲ့နေရာရဲ့ အခန်းအပူချိန်၊ နေရောင်ခြည်ပမာဏ စတဲ့အချက်လေးတွေကိုသေချာသိအောင်လုပ်ပါ။ ဥပမာအားဖြင့် နေရောင်ခြည်နည်းပါးလေ့ရှိတဲ့အခန်းတွင်းမှာစိုက်ပျိုးမယ်ဆိုရင်တော့ နေရောင်ခြည်မကြိုက်တဲ့တဲ့အပင်လေးတွေ၊ ရေသိပ်မကြိုက်တဲ့အပင်လေးတွေရွေးချယ်စိုက်ပျိုးသင့်ပါတယ်။ ဒါမှမဟုတ်ဘဲ ဝရန်တာ၊ ခြံတွင်းတို့မှာစိုက်ပျိုးမယ်ဆိုရင်တော့ အပင်အများစုကိုရွေးချယ်စိုက်ပျိုးနိုင်မှာဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
2. Know your limits!
Well, after deciding whether it’s indoor or outdoor plants, you have to know your limits for taking care of plants! Plants have variable degrees of need and support. If you don’t have enough time to take a great care of plants, it’s wise to choose plants which have a great deal of resistance to neglect. But if you can take care of them fine, then almost every plants can be yours!
၂။ အပင်စိုက်ဖို့ဆုံးဖြတ်လိုက်ပြီဆိုတာနဲ့ ကိုယ်ဘယ်လောက်အချိန်ပေးနိုင်လဲ၊ ဂရုစိုက်နိုင်လဲဆိုတာကလဲအရေးကြီးပါတယ်။ အပင်လေးတွေကလည်းခွေးလေး၊ကြောင်လေးဂရုစိုက်ရသလိုပါပဲ၊ အသေးစိတ်ဂရုစိုက်ရတတ်ပါတယ်။ တကယ်ကိုယ်ကအချိန်အများကြီးမပေးနိုင်ဘူးဆိုရင်တော့ အကြမ်းခံပြီးရေသိပ်မကြိုက်တဲ့အပင်မျိုးကိုရွေးချယ်စိုက်ပျိုးသင့်ပါတယ်။
3. Know your plants!
It’s the best to know the characteristics and needs of your plants! They differ from one another so make sure that you know them exactly! For example, people think every green plants love sunlight. Well, it’s not true for every plants! Even though some plants have green leaves, they don’t like sunlight at all. And also, not every plants need daily watering!
Tips : Try to choose the native species because they are more suitable for the weather condition of Myanmar. And support local product!
၃။ ကိုယ်စိုက်မယ့်အပင်လေးတွေရဲ့အကြောင်းကိုသေချာသိထားသင့်ပါတယ်။ တစ်ပင်နဲ့တစ်ပင်ရဲ့လိုအပ်ချက်၊ ပင်ကိုယ်လက္ခဏာလေးတွေက တစ်မျိုးဆီကွာခြားလေ့ရှိပါတယ်။
တစ်ခုအကြံပေးချင်တာက ကိုယ့်ဒေသမျိုးရင်းကိုရွေးချယ်စိုက်ပျိုးတာကရာသီဥတုနဲ့ကိုက်ညီတဲ့အပြင် မိမိဒေသရဲ့ထွက်ကုန်ကိုလည်းအားပေးရာရောက်ပါတယ်။
4. Know to ask whom are experienced in growing plants!
Well, the last but not least! It’s not bad to ask people who are experienced in taking care of plants! So you can learn from their real experience and mistake in taking care of plants! And also, make sure to ask the shop from which you are buying plants about the specific details as much as you can!
