The kitchen got the most attention. A travertine island clad floor to ceiling, a travertine sink carved from the same stone as the countertop, a green tap that shouldn't work but somehow does. Oak everywhere — cabinets, panels, the ceiling volume above. The details are the kind you only notice up close: the double bullnose edge on the island, the way the stone meets the wood at the base, the floating travertine shelf. A kitchen built like it was meant to last.
