The Shared Space Bous project originated from an extensive public participation process and was continuously developed in dialogue with the residents of Rue de Luxembourg in Bous.

Significant technical constraints, primarily related to the existing underground infrastructure, necessitated the removal of most of the originally proposed trees and landscaped areas.

The fountain —one of the community's key requests—also had to be omitted from the final design.

Nevertheless, the project successfully transformed a heavily trafficked street into a shared space that prioritises people and provides a diverse range of high-quality public spaces for social interaction, relaxation, and everyday use.

Schroeder & Associés S.A. Thank you for another great and successful collaboration. It is always a pleasure to work with you!
