Keller minimal windows® is a leading system manufacturer for aluminium design sliding systems. Individuality is our strength, every project is unique.

Under the name Keller minimal windows® these innovative, virtually frameless sliding windows and doors are installed in particular in higher-class private and commercial buildings. Development of the Keller minimal windows® design sliding systems began in 2008. Minimum facing widths of the profiles, post-free corner solutions and the possibility of large glass areas of the sliding systems cater to the architectural trend toward transparency and the creation of light-flooded rooms.

A forest house between rustic timber and clear glass.🌳

Deeply embedded in a Latvian pine forest, this ensemble brings together two distinct architectural positions: an existing log house with a weathered timber facade, slate roof and traditional form, and a new, low-lying extension that deliberately contrasts in its materiality. The addition presents itself as a strictly horizontal pavilion with a dark-coated steel frame and a wide, cantilevering flat roof that hovers like a quiet frame above the landscape.

The pavilion is resolved into glass on three sides. Continuous sliding systems by minimal windows® span between the slender steel columns, forming a transparent enclosure that connects the interior with the forest without drawing a visible boundary.

Where the curve embraces the landscape. 🍁

In the quiet flatness of the Belgian countryside, this residence emerges from a single clear architectural gesture: a curved form that draws interior and garden into a fluid relationship. The single-storey wing traces a gentle arc around a planted courtyard, while a compact two-storey volume in light brick rises above it.

The defining element of the ground floor is a large-format minimal windows® curve sliding system that follows the arc of the building and opens the living and dining area fully towards the terraced courtyard. The glazing runs along the curve of the floor plan, allowing a panoramic view that fans out across the courtyard and the surrounding landscape.

A Residence Among Pines, Brick and a Living Roof. 🌲

This house in Poland is composed of two clearly distinct volumes that contrast deliberately in their materiality and height. A low, single-storey bar with a green roof and a warm red-brown brick cladding extends horizontally into the landscape, anchoring itself within the established vegetation of pines, grasses and boulders.

The minimal windows® sliding systems play a central role in the single-storey bar. Spanning as continuous glass bands between the floor slab and the projecting brick parapet, they dissolve the boundary between interior and garden.

Nestled in a lush setting lined with birch trees and hedgerows in Poland, a residential house unfolds whose architectural language is defined by a single, quiet gesture. The curved volume encloses the garden like a protective embrace, creating an intimate outdoor space dedicated entirely to the interplay of architecture and landscape.

Where the wooden volume opens towards the garden, large-format minimal windows® sliding elements and fixed glazing take over the facade of the open-plan living room. The floor-to-ceiling glass surfaces are fitted flush into the reveals, creating a wide, unobstructed view from the living and dining area across the adjoining terrace into the enclosed garden.
