Whenever I arrive in any city, I look for two places: a contemporary art museum and a flea market.

One opens my mind to new possibilities. The other reminds me of the value of history, craftsmanship and attention to detail.

I bring both perspectives to my interiors, mixing contemporary design with pieces that have a story to tell.

💡Do you see the difference?

The bed was already part of the clients’ interior, and they wanted to keep it. As 𝙖 𝙦𝙪𝙞𝙘𝙠 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙚𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙫𝙚 𝙨𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣, we added soft upholstered wall panels behind the headboard to give the sleeping area a more complete and refined look🤍

We then explored different options for 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙗𝙚𝙙𝙨𝙞𝙙𝙚 𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚𝙨 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙝𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 - small details that can noticeably change the character of the bedroom

🔹A mezzanine with complex geometry became 𝟮 𝙛𝙪𝙣𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙡 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙖𝙘𝙚𝙨

Careful planning, precise measurements and thoughtful zoning allowed us to create a 𝙗𝙚𝙙𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢 and a 𝙝𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙤𝙛𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙚 while bringing more natural light into the interior

✔️The result is a more practical and well-organised use of the mezzanine level

This 𝙗𝙚𝙙𝙧𝙤𝙤𝙢 presented a particular challenge due to the 📐complex geometry of the space

Located 𝒐𝒏 𝒂 𝒎𝒆𝒛𝒛𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒍𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒍, the room had multiple lines, angles and irregularities that needed to be visually balanced

🔹Since the clients are drawn to 𝙜𝙚𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙘 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙣𝙨, we proposed using different geometries across various surfaces

🔹Rather than trying to hide the complexity of the architecture, we used pattern and composition to redirect the eye, 𝙨𝙤𝙛𝙩𝙚𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙚𝙧𝙘𝙚𝙥𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 of the irregular lines and bring more visual focus to the lower level of the room

Every design starts with the client’s priorities🏁

For this project, the goal was clear:
•to create a minimalist interior with geometric forms
•preserve the existing custom-made shelving unit
•and work within the planned budget

✔️The room’s diagonal wall became the key design feature

Instead of hiding it, we let it define the layout. The clients chose the option where the furniture and flooring follow the same direction, creating a dynamic and balanced space

Within a compact room, we designed four functional zones:
🔹living 🔹dining 🔹reading and 🔹storage

Sometimes great design is not about adding more. It is about recognising the character of a space and allowing it to lead the design✔️
