La Société Luxembourgeoise de Statistique (SLS) est une association sans but lucratif ayant pour but de promouvoir l'utilisation de la statistique et ses développements méthodologiques, d'assurer la représentation de ceux qui la pratiquent, l'enseignent et y effectuent de la recherche, de coopérer avec les autres organisations concernées. Elle se propose en particulier de faciliter les échanges en

tre statisticiens travaillant dans les administrations, les entreprises et les établissements d'enseignement ou de recherche. Elle vise à une meilleure culture statistique publique, en particulier des jeunes, afin d’asseoir sa valeur intrinsèque pour l’analyse et la prise de décision, voire d’accroître son impact sociétal. L’association réalise ces projets par ses propres moyens et en recourant à des coopérations nationales et internationales.
