Character is in. Cookie cutter is out.
This waterfront Longboat Key home already had what you can’t recreate: mid-century character, original details and a whole lot of personality.
So we didn’t try to turn it into something else.
We enclosed the oversized lanai to create two new bedrooms, added a balcony to take advantage of the waterfront setting, and worked with the home’s original character instead of wiping it away.
And peep that flooring. 👀
Old Florida homes don’t need to lose their personality to gain function. Sometimes the best remodel is knowing exactly what to change and what deserves to stay.
